Satisfied Customers


Selling bar stools online can be a pretty tough experience. But it can also be very satisfying. We recognized the need for such a business when we were consumers looking for furniture. The barstools and chairs were out there, but in limited styles, and when it came to customizing what we wanted, prices got pretty darn high. So here we are: selling stuff online, an authorized Internet dealer for a growing number of excellent manufacturers. We have had our share of ups and downs: the worst probably is "The Deadline." We know when you want something to arrive - we tell the manufacturer, they make an absolute commitment, we tell you, we tell the world (posting it on our Website). That works fine 95% of the time, but we have learned one thing about helping you create customized counter stools or bar stools: "Expect the unexpected." Getting something from Michigan to Arizona or from New Jersey to San Jose would seem an easy enough matter - but then there is "the unexpected." And now we know to expect it. This year (thanks to China) it was "steel shortage." Next year it could be a "truckers strike."

Aah, but those "ups" - there have been so very many, that we have lost count. Why don't we let the customers speak for themselves. They will tell you our story better than we can:

J&L B emailed from Winona, Minnesota. We received our Michigan Chair Company barstools this week and are very pleased with them. We had reservations about ordering sight-unseen. But since we didn't find anything locally that met our expectations, we decided to take the chance. They arrived well packed, needed no assembly, and fit the decor of our kitchen perfectly.

JW from New York. I received the chairs yesterday and I love them. They're everything I had expected and then some. I started to worry that they may not be "solid" enough to handle two girls and their friends, plus a husband. I'm not worrying now. First, I love shopping on the Web - convenience, variety, options. With commodity products, such as replacement air filters, you save time and money.
But with products such as furniture, you have to be able to see what you're buying. And I am one of those people who want to look at every possible choice that might be out there. So I shopped around at so,so many sites, but I kept returning to your site. The photos are large and descriptions are clear, and the layout was simple and easy to navigate. (Did you ever use a Web site where you couldn't figure out how to get back to some place you wanted to go to? Well, it doesn't happen here.) And even with shipping, I found the prices to be the lowest. But the best part is that I talked to a real person! Yes! in this day and age, the 1-800 number takes you to people who patiently help you with your questions! What a surprise! It's a terrific combination of well done modern technology and old fashioned customer service. Thanks for your help and I love the kitchen counter stools I purchased! You can trust this company!
